INVADER ZIME
Like I usually do when I have to be working on something official, I get distracted, but on occasion the distraction at least provides something to show for my wasted time.
Last night, when I should have been writing a lil script for a Fringe comic, I ended up drawing these ZIM and GIR images. Not sure why. It just happened, okay?

On Saturday, December 24 at 9PM ET, Nicktoons is airing the pilot episode. Also they are having a ranking of the “best moments of Invader Zim” that will be shown that night as well. You can vote here.
A lot of those moments are GIR related of course, but there are few others that are really good as well. And this whole airing of the pilot is fascinating. I know I keep saying it, but it is! I guess it could just be milking the very last bits of the series for money, but it could also put more in their head about how many people enjoy the show if this premiere is really popular.

Also I never noticed how he looks mildly offended when Dib’s not impressed by that failure XD
Best part of the episode, for sure.
Former ZIM storyboard supervisor and current cartoonist badass, Louie Del Carmen, sent this my way. This was from an un-produced episode where a a drill (pictured) was clamped onto Dib’s head and bored its way through his mouth, throat and ultimately out the back of his skull for a full 22 minutes, killing him not at all instantly but eventually.
